MANHATTAN ARTS CENTER VOLUNTEERS
The Manhattan Arts Center needs a volunteer to help with office work, housekeeping, and setting up for shows. Volunteers can create their own schedule; the MAC asks for 1-2 hours in between 1:00pm and 5:00pm.
MAC also needs a volunteer to supervise their visiting elementary school children on the bus. Starting Monday Feb. 6 and every Monday after, 3:45pm- 4:45pm.

HIRING: ALTERNATIVE BREAKS STUDENT COORDINATOR
The Alternative Breaks team is looking for a new Student Coordinator. This position will coordinate the AB Program on the Kansas State University in the School of Leadership Studies, organize and participate in weekly AB staff meetings, and facilitate the selection and training of site leaders. The Coordinator will also organize and supervise the recruitment, publicity, fundraising and site development.

FORT RILEY C-DEL VOLUNTEERS
The Fort Riley Cause Digital Entertainment Library (C-DEL) is in need of volunteers. A non-profit organization, the C-DEL relies on volunteer manpower.
Duties include greeting soldiers as they come in, checking out equipment, DVDs and games, assisting with special projects and events, etc.

CASA SPRING TRAINING
Volunteer to be the difference between abuse and hope – become a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). Court-Appointed Special Advocates are volunteers who give their time to advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system.
Spring training will begin with an orientation session on Monday, February 13th at 6 pm at First Lutheran Church located at 930 Poyntz Ave. Training will continue on Tuesday evenings for 8 weeks from 6-9 pm.

13th Annual Casino Night & Auction- Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan’s annual fundraiser- FRIDAY FEBRUARY 17.

All able bodies wanting to volunteer their time, working with children ages 5-12+, this opportunity is for YOU.
BOYS & GIRLS CLUB has eight sites around the Manhattan community, and is in need of helping hands for our before and after school programs. For all youth related degrees this would be a great experience! BUT ALL majors and backgrounds are welcome!
For MENTORS:
2 days+ & 2 hours+/per week
Build a positive relationship with 1-4 Boys & Girls Club members
20+ hour OR semester-long commitment
For VOLUNTEERS:
2 hours/week
Program-based, helping to enhance the daily programs as well as interact with the Club kids at your assigned site.
